Australian Freelance Journalists Association [work in progress]
I am a member of the founding committee for the emerging Australian Freelance Journalists Association. The committee's role is to define a charter and register the association in line with the needs of Australian freelance journalists across all media. We anticipate that there will be state branches under the national umbrella.

FANBASE HQ (www.fanbasehq.com) [work in progress]
FANBASE HQ is an online community for alternative music fans. FBHQ is for the fans who are sick of being stereotyped, misunderstood and commodified by music companies. The community gives fans an outlet for creative work that has been inspired by music and a forum to meet and discuss things with other like-minded fans. In addition to running this community, we are filming a documentary about music fans. I am the producer of the documentary.

Palimpsest [work in progress]
Palimpsest is an anthology of ten writers' works. The writers submit two pieces, unspecified in format and theme. Their first is given to another writer in the group, from which they write a second, connected piece. The 20 works form the Palimpsest collection. I am the editor and publisher for this anthology, as well as a participating writer.

The Shoot Out (www.theshootout.com.au)
The Shoot Out is a film-making competition run in various regional centres in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. The challenge is to produce a film up to seven minutes long in the space of 24 hours with only in-camera editing allowed. The film must contain a certain number of items or locations specified by the brief given at the beginning of the competition. I have participated in four events in various roles such as producer, director, scriptwriter, actor and location supervisor. I wrote an article about one experience for Australian Traveller magazine.
